Thornton Winery does both.

Set on a 20-acre property overlooking the Temecula Valley vineyards, Thornton has created an experience that leans deliberately toward old-world elegance. The centerpiece is a French-style chateau, and from the moment visitors arrive, the property’s identity feels distinctly different from the more rustic or casual side of Temecula Wine Country.

There is a reason the winery calls itself Temecula’s Original Champagne House.

Founded in 1988, Thornton built much of its reputation around Méthode Champenoise sparkling wines while continuing to produce a broad selection of still wines.
